Your 12-Day Automatic Driving Course – Day by Day
Every student moves at their own pace, but this is how a typical 12-day automatic course runs.
Day 1
Controls & first creep
Right-foot-only pedals and the P-R-N-D selector with the engine off, then letting the car creep on a quiet road.
Day 2
Your first real drive
Steering, gentle acceleration and stopping on quiet streets near home.
Day 3
Smooth braking & turns
Progressive braking, left and right turns and looking where you want to go.
Day 4
Junctions & speed breakers
Mirror routine, junctions, giving way and slowing for speed breakers.
Day 5
Light traffic
Your first drive alongside other cars on calmer main roads.
Day 6
City traffic
Chowks, signals and stop-go queues, holding the car on the brake in D.
Day 7
Roundabouts & lanes
Choosing the right lane, entering and exiting roundabouts safely.
Day 8
Hills & low gear
Brake-to-accelerator hill starts and using B/L on descents (real hills in Abbottabad and Mansehra).
Day 9
Highway & motorway
Merging, steady speeds, overtaking and M-Tag rules.
Day 10
Parking & reversing
Using creep for parallel and reverse parking, U-turns and tight spaces.
Day 11
Mixed route & defensive driving
A longer drive through every road type, plus night and rain tips.
Day 12
Mock road test
A full test-style drive with feedback, plus your licence guidance plan.

Is 12 Days Enough to Learn Automatic Driving?
For most beginners, yes – and it’s often faster than learning manual. Without a clutch to master, you spend your first days on steering, braking and reading the road instead of trying not to stall. That’s why most automatic beginners are driving in real traffic by Day 5 and have time left for hills, highways and parking.
If you’ve never driven at all or feel very nervous, 22 days gives extra practice at each stage. If you’ve driven before or are switching from manual, 12 days is usually plenty. What is the fee for the 12 days automatic driving course?
Rs 12,000 for twelve classes in a Toyota Passo, the same in Islamabad, Abbottabad and Mansehra. Pick & drop is optional from Rs 100 per class.
Is automatic easier for beginners than manual?
Yes, for most people. With no clutch there’s no stalling, so you can focus on steering, braking and traffic from the first day.
Can I learn automatic driving in 2 weeks?
Yes. The 12-day course takes most beginners from their first drive to road-test ready in about two weeks of classes.
Is there a 12 days automatic driving course in Islamabad?
Yes. It runs at our Markaz I-8 branch, with pick-up from home across Islamabad.
Which car will I learn in?
A Toyota Passo automatic. You can also learn in your own automatic car if you prefer.
Can women take this course with a female driving instructor?
Yes, at all three branches. See our ladies driving course.
Does the course include the driving licence?
It includes licence guidance and a mock road test. Government licence fees are paid separately to ITP or KP Police.
Can I extend or switch to manual later?
Yes. You can add classes, upgrade to the 22-day automatic course, or learn the clutch later.
